Wonderfruit; a home for every spirit animal. Let Thailand breathe you in for a change at this festival for the arts. Here you will get to experience what Thailand’s art and music scene is all about.

The founders of Wonderfruit strive to increase sustainability and environmentally friendly living, and they mean it.

Wonderfruit’s 2017 account describes bamboo structures and Boutique Camping toilet structures built from recycled pallets. The organiser reports first receiving carbon-neutral certification in 2017.

The organiser says it invested in the Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve to offset emissions from its February 2017 event.

Wonderfruit is hosted over four days in mid-December at the Siam Country Club, Pattaya. Having only been established since 2014, Wonderfruit is still young, and yet it is already a hot spot for Thailand’s art, music, food and ideas.

In 2019 Wonderfruit will run from 12th-16th of December.

The Early Bird tickets for 2019 are sold out, for ticket prices you can head over to their site at https://wonderfruit.co/.

How to get there

We stayed outside of the festival within the city and used Grab Taxi to get there and back each day. It cost between 500 and 700 baht each way and we split the cost between 4 people.

There is an official shuttle bus but the price was absolutely not worth it.

Insider tips

  1. Take your own refillable and lightweight flask (lightweight so you can wear it whilst dancing). Make sure it isn’t single-use plastic or it won’t be allowed in. Bring it empty, as the organiser’s FAQ says drinking flasks are emptied at entry.
  2. Eat a big breakfast before heading to the festival. The food is expensive.
  3. If you’re intending to party harder than your bank balance will allow – have a cheeky 7-11 pre-drink.
  4. Take a small light bag for essentials.

See you there!
