Wine tasting at Silverlake Vinyard
You don't usually think of wine when you're in Thailand, but if you're a wine lover or you're just looking for something a little out of the ordinary, check out Silverlake Vinyard.
An unusual activity for Thailand. The Silverlake Vinyard in Pattaya is just one of a few vinyards in Thailand and similar to others, it’s set up for locals and tourists to tour the grounds, learn how wine is produced here in Thailand, and of course, wine tasting to finish it off.
Getting to Silverlake is easy but it’s a little out of town (approximately a 30 minute drive). If you don’t drive or ride a motorcycle, use the Grab Taxi for a hassle free taxi, or check the prices on Grab, and then use that as a starting point for negotiations with a regular taxi (a normal taxi should usually be a little cheaper).
After you arrive and buy a ticket (200 baht for adults, 100 baht for children) you will be given the next tour time. Until then you can take some photos at the small viewpoint.
The bus will shuttle you around the vinyard, stopping several times for photos before finally arriving at the winery. After learning more about the winery and how the wine is produced, head upstairs for wine tasting and if you’d like to, you can purchase any of the wines before you leave.
